Marsh Industries Installation Instructions
Suitable for properties with up to 5 Population Equivalent (PE), this 2800-litre model is the ideal choice for domestic homes up to three bedrooms.
We supply the Marsh Euro:Septic range because of its superior performance and ease of installation compared to standard tanks.
Designed for High Water Tables: The specific shallow-dig profile means less deep excavation is required, making it ideal for sites where deep digging is impractical or impossible due to rock, running water, or clay.
Integrated Polylok Filter: Unlike other standard septic tanks, the Euro:Septic is supplied with a 'Polylok' filter. This essential feature significantly improves the quality of the discharged effluent, protecting your drainage field (soakaway) from blockages and extending its lifespan.
High Efficiency & Compliance: Achieve high-level treatment with an impressive 99.63% hydraulic efficiency. The tank meets all current UK regulations and is tested to the BSEN 12566-1 standard.
Secure & Easy Installation: The tank includes a unique "Key in" lip around the middle, assisting with securing the unit safely within the granular or concrete backfill material.
Fast, FREE UK Delivery: We offer delivered pricing with no hidden charges, including free UK mainland delivery (5-7 working days).
Discharge Regulations (General Binding Rules):
A septic tank must always discharge to a drainage field (soakaway). It is NOT legally permitted to discharge effluent from a septic tank directly into a watercourse (ditch, stream, or river) under the General Binding Rules in England & Wales.
If your site requires a discharge to a watercourse, you must install a full Sewage Treatment Plant. If you are unsure which system you need, please call our expert team for advice before purchasing.
Backfill Requirements:
The installation backfill material depends on your ground conditions:
High Water Table: If the water table rises above the proposed base of the tank at any time of the year, it must be installed in a concrete backfill. Failure to install in concrete in this scenario will invalidate the manufacturer's warranty.
