A slimline single skin oil tank is a space-saving heating oil container made from a single layer of UV-stabilised plastic. It is specifically designed with a narrow width to fit into tight spaces, such as narrow garden paths or the side of a property, where a larger or bunded tank might be too wide.
You can typically use a single skin slimline tank for domestic properties if the capacity is under 2,500 litres and your installation passes an environmental risk assessment. This means the tank must not be located near a stream, river, well, or borehole, and a leak must not be able to reach a water source or manhole.
