Tail Lift delivery available for tanks up to 2500 litres.
In general, tank deliveries are "kerbside". This means the tank is delivered to the side of the lorry and positioning of your tank will be the responsibility of the yourself (the customer/installer) and not the delivery driver.
Some deliveries (certainly those of tanks with a capacity in excess of 2500 litres) will be made via an Articulated Lorry (also referred to as an “Artic”). An Articulated Lorry is a large vehicle which has 2 sections, connected by a pivot, and can be in excess of 16 metre in length. If your delivery address and/or access to your delivery address (including the roads leading to your address) cannot accept an Articulated Lorry please ensure we are aware of this so that an alternative method of delivery, if possible, can be sourced. Off-loading of the tanks may also be required by the customer as these vehicles rarely have a tail lift or other unloading device. Please advise us if you are unable to off-load so alternative arrangements, if possible, can be made.
This is available at NO EXTRA cost for plastic tanks up to 2500 litres (not Tuffa; they offer a HIAB). A Tail Lift is a mechanical device permanently installed to the back of the lorry and is designed to lower deliveries safely to the ground. These Tail Lift devices have differing weight capacities. Please advise at the time of order if you need this type of delivery.
Currently available as a chargeable option for Atlantis tanks, Tuffa Tanks and steel tanks.
We will make every effort to deliver on the expected delivery date and will communicate with you the information that is given to us by the manufacturer and their haulage company. We cannot accept any charges or compensation claims arising from late or failed deliveries. We do not recommend booking engineers or fuel deliveries pending your delivery.
