Return to Base Warranty

Where its not possible to confirm if an item has failed under warranty, it may be required to return the product for assessment. This  is known as a "return to base warranty" which requires you physically return the defective item to the manufacturer. In these cases you will be responsible for returning to the manufacturer for assessment. You will initially responsible for the return costs until it has been confirmed as a warranty claim, but refunded if applicable.

If found to be under warranty, the manufacturer will the cover the cost of the repair or replacing and sending it back to you. It must be noted that if the item is found to not be defective then the costs to return would be the customers responsibility.
