The locker charging cabinet is designed as an application for the safe charging of lithium-ion batteries, with a focus on batteries used for bicycles and scooters. The cabinet consists of 12 separate lockers that provide sufficient space for both a battery with charger.
Each locker is equipped with a combination lock that can be individually secured with a self-selected code. This makes the locker cabinet ideal for travellers and commuters with an electric bike or scooter. The cabinet offers them a secure place to charge and store their battery.

Pressure relief valve
In the event of the explosion of a lithium-ion battery, significant pressure builds up inside the cabinet. The pressure relief valve will reduce the accumulated pressure to a normal atmospheric value.
Ventilation
The cabinet is equipped with forced ventilation to dissipate heat buildup. In case of smoke detection, forced ventilation and power supply are shut off.
