10000 Litres Underground Water Tank

Our 10000 Litre Underground Water Tank is rotationally moulded from high quality virgin MDPE. This NON Potable Underground Water Tank (Not Suitable for Drinking Water) is Made In Britain and is frost proof so it will not crack in cold temperatures, making it ideal to store water or for rainwater harvesting installations.

This 10000 litre underground water tank must be fully encased in concrete and is only designed to take pedestrian traffic over it once it is installed. There are four possible inlet positions on top of the tank that can accept fittings up to 4", this tank also has a 545mm extended neck which can be cut down if required. Please make sure you read all installation instructions before purchasing this tank. The 10000 Litre underground Water Tank is suitable for agricultural and industrial uses where WRAS approval is NOT required. We also have a  WRAS Approved  potable water version of this tank.

This high quality underground water tank comes with a 600mm vented lid which is also used for general maintenance. This 10000 litre Underground Water Tank does not have any outlet as standard but we can fit outlets up to 8",  please email hello@thetankshop.co.uk for prices.

Installation Instructions for Large underground Water Tanks 

Optional Extras:

• Pump & Tap System: This system pumps water from your storage tank to a wall mounted tap. The HydroForce Series 3 is a British made, electronically-controlled, pressure-sensitive, centrifugal roto-dynamic pump with no reciprocating parts. Max head (nominal) 35 metres, pump pressure (nominal) at outlet 3.5 bar, max suction 3 metres. It comes with two-year return-to-base guarantee.
• Underground Rain Water Filter: If using for rain water collection, we have 2 options depending on the number of downpipes you will be feeding into the tank.
• Mains Water Back Up: If using for rain water collection, this back up in box detects when the tank water level is running low and tops up the water level to ensure the tank never runs out of a water supply.
