Standing at a reduced height compared to the 8/10 model, the 8/5 Charging Cabinet is specifically designed to fit under workbenches or tables. Like all units in the Cemo safety range, the 8/5 model features the patented LockEX spring-based door mechanism. In the event of an internal gas explosion, the system allows the doors to vent extreme pressure for a fraction of a second before instantly re-sealing. This prevents the "bomb effect" seen in standard cabinets and keeps flames and toxic smoke contained.
