This includes Sewage Treatment Plants designed to provide a safe and efficient solution for the treatment of domestic waste water before being discharged into a water course, Septic tanks which are used when Waste Water Treatment is not required and Sewage Pump Stations which are used when gravity drainage cannot be achieved on site and are typically installed in building extensions or basement extensions; the waste from the site flows into an underground storage chamber, where it is then pumped to the main sewer.
