Equipped with integrated safety systems, the cabinet includes a battery-operated smoke detector and a warning alarm that immediately alerts staff in case of a fire. An additional airtight door seal effectively prevents the spread of cold smoke, providing an extra layer of protection within the cabinet.

For convenience each shelf features a dedicated power socket, and the system automatically disconnects power during a fire. A door contact switch also interrupts the charging current when the doors are opened, ensuring a consistently safe charging environment for all stored batteries.

Built for easy handling and emergency access, the cabinet offers an 80–90 cm forklift clearance for quick positioning and safe removal if necessary. Its heat-insulated steel construction maximizes protection by containing heat, safeguarding both the cabinet’s contents and the surrounding area.

Our Battery Charging Cabinet is FM certified and meets strict fire safety and compliance standards. Each unit features clear warning labels and user instructions. Through extensive fire and explosion testing, including battery fire simulations, our FMplus cabinets have proven their ability to contain fires for the full duration of the event, ensuring the highest level of safety for your facility.

With a tested storage capacity of 1,134 Wh, this cabinet can hold up to 15 small 18V 4Ah batteries. Optional upgrades include castors for mobility, a cable duct for integration with in-house fire alarms, and a ventilation line adapter to enhance air circulation.
